The University of Oregon has always been a leader in campus sustainability, but the Sustainability Department itself has struggled to connect with students and build a strong presence within the campus community. It was our job to create a brand that empowered a campus to work together to make a difference and change the behaviors of thousands of students. What started with a renovated, user-friendly website grew into viral videos and creative experiences. The brand overhaul was headlined by a View-Master campaign which positioned View-Masters in common areas throughout the campus serving as windows into the future of the University.
Viral videos captured students attention and circulated through multiple platforms to drive students to the website and increase brand awareness. Plastic Bag Monster: Tyler Kirsch. Cardboard Box Monster: Jamison Merrill. Paper Monster: Rachel Hom. Production: Matt Nockelby.
The headlining View-Master campaign brought the brand into the daily lives of students, administrators and campus visitors.
